just died and got a p0381

early 99 7.3l aftermarket intake, muffler delete,edge evo II with pod. 260K manual trans ... so i was on my way home and showing a buddy how easy it is to use the edge(showing out) had it set on race egt was in a good range
i hammered on it one hard time got it up to about 70 and felt a hesitation let out of the throttle then it just bogged like running out of fuel rolled to a stop
it cranked back up but would not rev above 1000 rpm then nothing.turns over but no start. out of curiosity released pressure from fuel filter housing
opened lid.key turned on the fuel comes into the housing but seems to have air bubbles .and it looks like steam or smoke coming out also(very wierd).
there is a brown relay or solenoid next to the housing and it burned me when
i touched it..my edge read a p0381 GP Lamp Output Circuit Fault or GP Indicator Circuit Malfunction is this code my real problem...i also developed an oil leak around the top of my engine about 20kmiles ahgo but i keep the oil topped off please help guys this truck is my only ride and this is the worst time for it to break! lol its what i get for showing out lolol
