smokes at cold start, low mileage

I have a 2000 7.3l 217000 miles, I just replaced injectors with remans from swamps, just stock ads, 8 zd11 glow plugs, new glow plug relay, uvc wire harnesses and valve cover gaskets, new idm, I also replaced fuel filter and did the 6637 mod. Its been smoking a lot at cold starts, smoke appears to have a blue tint to it, sometimes its just gray/white, but theres a lot till it warms up, specially when she kicks into high idle, also sometimes I will occasionally see a blue puff come out while driving, and its also getting terrible milage, I have a 35 gallon tank and got little over 400 miles out of it. before the old injectors crapped out on me I was averaging 18-20 mpg...Also, I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan and its been in the 20's in the morning, today it was 50ish degrees when I got up and when I started it, hardly any smoke. I cant figure out whats up with this, I'm pretty new to this motor though. Any help is greatly appreciated! by hthe way sorry if theres already threads about tthis, I have dial up so I hate waiting 20 minutes for a page to load....

Replaced injectors with remans in my service truck 10,000 miles ago with the same smoke issue as you, except my mileage has always been 12 to 14 mpg, closer to 12. I'll have to look back to see what brand my remans were, although I know we did not get them from Swamp's.

Thanks for the reply! Im really not to sure whats going on there.. I figured swamps was a pretty reliable brand, they came with a 5 year 200,000 mile warranty too... also I found out that some of the blue tint is probably coming from that ccv tube going into the intake, or at least that's what Im assuming anyway, I pulled the tube off yesterday and she was pretty oily...

Maybe try some t6 5w40 rotella. My 7.3 hates starting in the cold, I put some t6 in and its starts ALOT better then before... Its not perfect but it helped alot. Little smoke. Also it helps when i plug it in too.
