Glow Plug Relay Shot again

My trucks a 2003 7.3 and I have had nothing but cold start issues all winter with it, I started the winter off with a new glow plug relay (late november early december) around new years I put all 8 new motorcraft glow plugs in, and found them not to be firing. The glow plug relay tested bad again, and was replaced by the auto parts store I purchased it from only being a month old... My truck is having trouble again and I have tracked it down to yet another bad glow plug relay.. I have been installing the glow plug relays from my local auto parts store, their STANDARD brand and run around $70 each.. They said they cant warranty it again due to it being in there for almost three months... Im getting tired of replacing these relays, is there possibly something burning them out? is there anything I can do to solve this issue? The motorcraft one ran $180 ish at the local dealer which is a little out of my price range for something that is identical to what the auto parts store sells assuming there the same...
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for the help

get a stancor relay!
the stock ones burn up in no time.
the stancor relay is a much larger and more heavy duty relay, it can handle the power.
i think i bought mine for 54 bucks or so.
it is listed as stancor/white rogers part number 586-902

or its listed on mouser electronics as part number 802-586-902

I just got yet another standard relay installed last night, the auto parts store warrantied it again. They werent thrilled about it, again, so i have a feeling this was the last one... I will most likely be ordering a stancor in the next few days anticipating the standard one going again.. Thanks for the suggestion I had read something about the Stancor one a while ago however had forgotten about it.
Any idea what causes these things to constantly go? is the glow plug circut drawing more then the relay can handle?

the relay fries itself it cant handle the 100 amp draw. the stancor one can hold up because it is rated at like 200 amps i think
