A/C Compressor screaming

Problem: Loud squealing noise coming from area around A/C compressor. Compressor still functions just fine and the clutch is engaging/disengaging as I'm assuming it should.

Background: Factory stock 7.3 with 138K in '01 F-250. Problem manifested immediately after dealership R&R'ed water pump and installed new serpentine belt. (NOT blaming dealer mechanic!) Less than 200 miles driven after squeal started.

Questions:
  • Should I suspect the compressor clutch bearing and if so how difficult is it to remove faulty bearing and press in new one? (Pretty mechanically inclined but any tips/hints would be appreciated)
  • Is it possible that the idler pulleys for the tensioner could be at fault?

Thanks for any help anyone can provide as well as your time.

Well it wasn't the compressor clutch bearing or any of the idler pulleys... The squeal still seems to be coming from around the A/C compressor, can someone tell me if the compressor will make this type of noise when they go bad? I've never heard of an A/C compressor going bad with only 130K on it but I'm not sure what else to do. Does anyone know where the best (cheapest) place to get a reman compressor is?

Thanks for any help or info you can provide!
