Another HPOP Question!

I purchased a used HPOP. The numbers are 449c91 and 1072713A. I was told it came off a 2000-01.

Now for the question/problem. I want to remove the back plate at find out if it is a 15 or 17 degree pump. I removed the spring clip no problem, but the plate WILL NOT COME OFF!

I need some ideas guys. Nothing destructive please.

I have never taken a HPOP apart, so I wont be too much help. What I would suggest doing if you don't get any help here on the ORG is to contact a company like Terminatior Engineering or someone else that deals with high pressure oil systems all day long and maybe they'll give you some good tricks to taking the pump apart. I'm sure someone from here will be able to help you though. Good luck!

I spoke with Bob at Dieselsite. He gave gave me the info of what I needed to look for. I didn't think to ask how to do it because it looked simple enough.

DUC TAPE works every time. Just remove the snapring and use the tape. May take a few times but it will come off.
