97 7.3 HARD TO START AFTER NEW PARTS

I 97 7.3 POWERSTROKE, IT RAN GOOD BUT I HAD THE GLOW PLUG RELAY GO BAD AND IT MELTED THE GLOW PLUG HARNESS (IM TOLD THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM), I CHANGED MY GLOW PLUGS, RELAY, HARNESSES AND VALVE COVER GASKETS AND NOW ITS HARD TO START AND I'VE ONLY STARTED IT TWICE AND I HAD TO USE EITHER TO GET IT STARTED BOTH TIMES. ONCE IT STARTS IT RUNS WITH A LITTLE BIT OF A HESITATE FROM IDLE TIL IT GETS WARM THEN ITS FINE. ONCE UP TO OPERATING TEMP. IT WILL START ON ITS OWN BUT NOT UNTIL IT CRANKS FOR ROUGHLY 5-10 SECONDS. IM NEW TO THIS FORUM AND LOOKING TO SEE IF YOU GUYS COULD HELP ME I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT. THANK YOU

Did you do the work or someone else? The reason I ask is are you sure the relay and plugs are working? Here is a writeup to test them yourself 7.3 glow plug system diagnosis

Can't hurt! Good place to start so you can narrow it down a bit
