after being driven on the highway for a long period of time, or usually on warm days, ill push in the clutch, or just pop her out of gear and it will shake like the motor is missing on a cyl. or 2 for 5-30 seconds, then return to a smooth idle. my dad drove it like that for 3 years. then i bought it half a year ago. the filters have been replaced, and i do the usuall maintainance and it makes no difference. its not a huge deal i would assume, but its really annoying.
thanks!
jeff
I'm having the exact same problem. Does not appear to be the clutch because it happens with clutch in and out, but I could be wrong. Let me know what you find out, I'll try and get some vid/sound bites of it too.
i had the same prob but it was only for a few weeks ended up being water in the fuel but probably not your prob if it has been doing it for 3 years.good luck with it.
Wiggle the engine harness where it connects to valve covers while idleing
