sending unit

hey guys i have drove about 180 miles and my gauge is blow a half of tank. do you think it is the sending unit that was just replaced.

Maybe the float popped off the sending unit. Only one way to find out.

Drop the tank and look and pull out the fuel pick up tube assembly and inspect the sending unit.
