antifreeze everywhere underhood
okay guys driven home tonight truck started steaming stoped looked underhood antifreeze everywhere cant tell where its coming from no odvious sprays or wetter spots but when i shut it off theres a study stream for a few minutes from behind the crankshaft pulley off the front of the oilpan its dark and ive no garage so thats the best i can tell till morn im guessing the weep hole on the waterpump ? sound about right to everyone ? other ideas ? 95000miles on her who's done one lately and whats the best price youve found on the pump if everyone agrees that to be the problem ? looks like thisll be a good time to flush her real good and switch from green coolant to some rotella elc any input lets hear it on prices, doing the job, switching the coolant, everything

yup.....its gonna be the water pump.....make sure to ONLY get a new pump if you go aftermarket (no remans)....the job is really easy except the fan clutch....thats the only pain. Make sure you get the right tools for the fan clutch before starting the job...

thanks marc oem ford or new aftermarket both equal ? i dont have any fan clutch tools i guess if i need a specific tool autozone probally has em on the loan a tool program ...this is gonna suck cold and snowin here man i need a garage or pole barn !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

a big strap wrench will work with a big adjustable wrench . if you are brave and have a air chissle you can hit the nut quick on the edge and it will spin off.
