how to check/add oil to my hpop

I have an 02 with a 7.3 and it will crank but wont start. I suspect the hpop but i dont know how to check/add oil. can anybody help

have you just checked the oil in general? my friends dads truck was low and would not start. or it could be the Cam Sensor. sorry i cant help on the HPOP.

you can check and refill the hpop through the small hex screw or bolt in the top of the resivore

Thanks I was able to get it started just by adding a little oil to the resevoir now how do I get it to stay in the resevoir. It just drains out when it sits overnight

It sounds like to me that the check valve is stuck or shot.
