Is the GPR and the GPCM the same thing

Trying to check my glow plug system and come across terms I am not sure of so I have to ask Is the GPR and the GPCM the same thing. I have checked and changed my GPR but still don't have glow plugs working. Glow plugs check OK.

The gpr is just a basic relay for the glow plugs. A gpcm is a module that does the same thing but is meant more for California emissions. A gpcm will be a silver box with a green and a black connector on it. Also make sure that the gpr is being controlled by the pcm. Are there any codes?
