Died While Driving -with solution

This happened to me a few years ago on my 01 7.3PSD. I was heading down to Charleston pulling my flats skiff. Cruising along about 70 or so. When it lost all drive. I was able to get over to the right shoulder. Checked all I could on the side of the road. My Dad ran a new CPS to me. We swapped that-nothing. So I reluncticly had it towed home. We gave a good once over again. And were lost. Made some calls everyone said injectors. The odd thing is I could hear a gurgle on the DS head when I turned the key on. Called a shop they came out to fix it exspecting the worst. They called me up at work and said it was fixed. And the bill was $300. He said that a oil circuit plug ahd come unscrewed. And was sitting there in the head. That gurgle was the oil pushing out of the hole. And would not allow the injectors to fire. Anybody ever heard of this? Or had this happen. SO before you buy those injectors give a listen on the DS head. May even be one on the PS side.
