glow plug relay operation help
I replaced glow plug relay with one from napa. can any one tell me if it is operating correctly? when ignition is off i have constant power at left big post. when i turn on ig. small post in front of relay is hot and so is big post on right, powering up gp. small post in back has no power. after engine warms up for a minute or so relay clicks off BUT both small plugs are now hot untill i shut truck off. is this correct. thanks for any help

The two small wires are the trigger wires one is from the ignition and on is from the pcm. I don't know how it operates, but Im going to take a wild guess and say when the last small one has voltage thats from the pcm to trigger the relay to close or open not sure if its normally open or closed relay. If Im wrong someone will chime in and give you the right info

I think that both small wires will be hot when the PCM turns off. for the GPR to turn on the PCM takes one of the small wires to ground thus turning on the GPR
