Hard start, if at all
This is my first power stroke. It's a '01 F350 7.3. It will crank and dump white smoke as it should from what I've read but it doesn't seem the ignite per say? I'm a gasoline mechanic but this 7.3 is a different animal. I've done glow plugs, GPR, and fuel filter. If it does start, after freeway use the water in fuel light illuminates and when I dump the fuel, it's either this crumby white build up or it looks like coolant in the fuel. I've dumped the tank completely 4 times now but I don't understand where the coolant looking water could be coming from? Anyone seen this before or am I just S.O.L.?
