Filter in fuel tank
Is there any type of a filter element in the fuel tank of in a 2003 Ford F350?

As far as I know there is a strainer on the end of the pick up tube in the tank. This can get blocked up and cause fuel delivery issues .

Be sure if u delete it u put at least a 2micron filter before ur fuel pump because taking the filter out the tank gets rid of the only protection before ur pump...

a 2mic is too restrictive of a filter for a pre pump, it will cause a restriction that will reduce the flow to the engine. A 10mic is the most you should use prepump. I use a 16mic pre pump.
Heck, put in a 40mic inline from Summit for $16 and get rid of that stupid hat strainer. |
