FIPL?

I had my tranny rebuilt because of no overdrive and thought it would fix another problem I am having. When Im driving between 45 and 60 in od the rpm's jump around about 100 rpm's on the tack and feels similar to shifting. It is not dropping down into 3rd gear. The shop said a code came up for the fipl (fuel injection pump lever?) I had never heard of one so I was researching and found one guy saying the psd's do not have a fipl. Any one have any ideas about this issue?

idi trucks 94.5 and below had a fipple mounted on the injection pump , not adjusted correctly could cause trans concerns , a powerstroke doesnt have a fipple , need to know more info on your truck

What info are you looking for? Its pretty much stock. Edge chip and 3" downpipe, 4" exhaust, cat delete. 290,000 miles. Runs excellent new tranny last friday. I had the problem before new tranny but problem did not go away. Tow 7,000# trailer daily. The prob is more noticable without trailer.

well first off you put this question in the 99-03 section and nowhere in this entire posting does it give any details on the truck, so my suggestion to you if you want to get answers and help on your vehicle is to not be sarcastic
