Truck Down
Is there a fuse or fuses that would keep the alternator from charging
My truck is stranded at another location, I don't have my owners manual to check the fuses I will be taking my truck into the shop tomorrow, since I changed the GPR, my batteries do not charge I have changed the following items in the last 10 days: a) GPR b) Belt Tensioner c) Idler Pulley d) Alternator (DB 200 Amp) e) Stancor GPR f) New batteries With all of the following changes the truck still drains the batteries and does not charge, I even swapped in new batteries and sent the DB alternator back to the plant Any help would be appreciated |

Charging issue
Check the fusible links over by the passenger side fender. I had this problem before where I changed the alternator and it still would not charge. The fusible links were burnt. If I remember right, they are just behing the battery. Not sure if they come off the cable or a solenoid but you should be able to find them. Hope this helps.
