Exclamation HELP NEW B

Hey guys, this is my first thread here. I usually hang out at the Fullsize Bronco forum but my dads 2000 7.3L Excursion has a problem. I checked for codes and none. The problem is it wont go passed 35mph, when you try to go faster it starts to shake. The rpms climb put it has no power NONE at all. You pull over and it idle really bad you rev the engine and puffs of blue smoke come out, the rpms climb slowly. You rev couple more times and it goes away, then it idle good and the rpms climb like if nothing was ever wrong. You drive away and from 0mph to 25mph its good put 30mph to 35mph it shakes and the same problem. The Excursion has a 6 inch lift, but everything is stock except that we had the muffler deleted and its straight pipe.

You bump just like you did, post on it.
Guys often use this smilie for fun.

Now to your trouble. I am at some what of a loss hear but I have read that the trans has a "safe" mode in the computer thats acts like this. It prevents you from driving over 30mph, shifts very hard and is to force you in for service before bad damage. It is also said to flash the O/D off light alerting you that you have codes in the trans. Not sure at all if this is your trouble but it's my first thought.

it stutters like a gasser does when you have a spark plug miss and lots of blue smoke comes out the tail pipe, changed the fuel filter but no change. Counld the ICP sensor be causing this

I checked the ICP sensor cause in another thread some said it had oil in the sensor and the connector did too. My sensor has oil too, i cleaned it but no change. Should i replace it? Or would something else be causing this. Its like fuel cuts out and the truck losses all power
