Service Engine Light????

My truck has been acting weird latly, when I start the truck the service engine light pop's up and idles very low. After about a minute it will rev up a little and idle normal. I also tried to drive the truck when the service engine light was on and it has no power.

Sounds like you have a code, stored in the PCM, that will tell you what the problem is...

Unfortunately, you can't get much use from a Generic OBD-II scanner, it takes a special scanner to retrieve them and you'll have to find someone with either a professional scanner or an AutoEnginuity.

If you are handy with the truck I would suggest buying a copy of Auto Enginuity with the Ford module. It will let you see ALL 478 sensor readings and then you can do a diagnosis when you wish.
