P0236 no boost no power

Tonight while driving my truck became real sluggish all of a sudden and I noticed my cts was reading 0psi boost and wouldnt go over about 55mph. When I checked for codes the truck showed a p0236. I dont have a chip or anything but the previous owner did put a resistor in the map and icp sensor. Are there any cheap easy ways for a college kid to diagnose the problem without throwing money at it and replacing parts that may not be bad.

This is the code:
P0236 - Turbo boost sensor A circuit performance - Restricted inlet/exhaust/supply hose, missing hose

Just asking - Were you running it hard / heavy acceration / High boost before this happened? Maybe check your intercooler boots, the electrical connections around the turbo.

Nothing really stupid just hurrying and merging into traffic I didnt even realize it started because after that I was just putting around. Then I noticed the truck felt like it was in limp mode and the turbo wouldnt spool.
