Sick water pump...
Dang it, I need to get a new water pump put in. I noticed it was low Mon morning, toppedit off and put 400 miles on it this week working out of town. Checked the coolant level today when I got home and see it's just a little low again. So I look around and found coolant pooling on the top of the pump. Luckily I found a trust worthy shop that can do it Monday. Hope it holds out for the drive to town.
The previous owner had this pump put in at 105K, I now have 229K on my truck so it seems to have held up fairly well from what I've read.
Too bad this happened in winter, can't do the work myself since I don't have a heated place to do it. Only supposed to be single digits this weekend.
How much should a job like cost?
