Pulled motor out of truck and re gaskeded whole motor I put motor back in truck and now it won't start. It is building good oil pressure and cranks over but won't fire. Replaced the icm and still can't get the injectors to fire. Also put a new camshaft positioning sensor in and still nothing. Any ideas?

Are you getting fuel to the bowl?
Could it be there is air in the lines that isn't out yet? How long have you cranked it? Just some questions...... |

Yes I am getting fuel to the bowl and good pressure there. Cranked it multiple times for long periods, had to put new battery in because we been trying to start it so much. If you pressure off the fuel bowl you can hear pump cycle and run till it builds pressure back up

Hello, have you check out all of your fuses? I recently had an issue where my truck just turned off on its own. I check fuses, fuel pump, the anertia and went back to my fuse box in the truck and found a 30 amp mini fuse blown. This fuse went to the wire harness that goes to my fuel canister on top of the motor. I replaced the fuse and it started just fine. I am not a diesel mechanic at all and this may not even be your issue but maybe just maybe this may help you. Good luck, Kenny.

Yes I have checked all the fuses about 3 times now checked the fuel shutoff switch and I also made sure the relays are all working properly... glowplug and intake heater relays are all good. Also swapped the two relays for the blower and icm just to make sure there was no prob there.

Missed some connections somewhere? Maybe not fully seated? UVCH Harnesses, IPR, CPS connector, MAF Sensor?
I'm just throwing some stuff out. |

Yup we checked all the connectors... there is no mass airflow sensor on a 7.3
|

Yeah I hooked my code reader up to it and it said there was no active codes. I am really scratching my head on this one
