No power when cold.

I have a '03 7.3 and when it is cold where the truck hasnt been started for a while it has no power. It's fine for about the first few minutes then it just falls on its face. I mean it wont get out of it own way, even with the pedal to the floor. Once it is warm of if it is plugged in ti is fine so i figure it is some kind of sensor problem?
