Diesel fumes in cab, leak in well, dealer says I need to replace the whole fuel bowl
...and I'm calling BS
He said the bowl is cracked, that thats a common problem with 7.3s. and it's an expensive repair that takes about four hours. I'm thinking I need to get a fuel bowl rebuild kit from Guzzle's and save the $200.00 + for a new bowl plus another $2-$300.00 labor. How does a metal bowl crack? Has anyone heard of this "common problem"? Last edited by 7.three; 12-27-2012 at 02:51 PM. Reason: speling |
