Fuel smell/leak?

I have an 02 7.3 and for about a week I have been smelling a faint fuel smell around the truck. This I went out and notice a spot about 4 inches in diameter under the truck which Im 99.9% sure is fuel. It looks like its dripping of the crossmember under the oil pan but other then that I can't tell where its coming from. I checked the engine valley after reading about fuel bowl leaks on here and there is no fuel in the valley. Anyone know where it could be leaking from? Any help appreciated. Thanks

i would check the fuel lines that run to the backs of the heads.
the passenger side specifically likes to chafe on the bracket, but would usually result in fuel in the valley. check at the backs of the heads though. that's where they enter the rail
