01 7.3 funny idle and slight vibration/shudder?

I noticed when I start my truck now the idle isnt as smooth as it use to be and now there is a slight shudder/vibration that can be felt while sitting in the drivers seat. its not a noticeable fluctuation on my tack but I know my engine and care hear/feel it???? Any ideas?

I am having the same trouble. I am starting to think it might be a weak HPOP. It runs fine on the highway just seems to have the odd funny shake when idling for long periods of time.

I dont think it would be HPOP related because it would be more prevalent when driving if that was the case..could be wrong? Im thinking its something to do with IPR or something along those lines.

when is the last time you replace fuel filter? Mine was doing that a couple weeks ago. Filter was over a year old. Problem solved, for me anyway.

Fuel filter gets done every 6K so Im good on that..this is gonna be one of those guessing game issues

I only do that during the winter here.. For some reason in the winter time our fuel just doesnt seem as clean? Summer time Im good! I got a new place I been getting fuel that had new tanks put in so far so good
