intermittent check engine light and missfire

i have a 2000 f250 7.3 6 speed manual 4x4. yesterday i was driving in the rain and was in a rush to go somewhere and in my hurry i was driving my tuck pretty hard and shifting at high rpms. when i got back in my truck after be parked for an hour 2 it sounded like it has a missfire and the check engine light was on . i proceeded to drive home the light went off and truck was running fine. closer to home did the same thing check engine light comes on and runs with slight missfire for a bit then back to normal and light goes out. im not sure if it had anthing to do with my hard driving cuz i usally baby it. but i have no clue where to start and what it could be. any help would be great thx.

Moisture some where? Check valve cover harness's first, then other connections.

well, the cel illuminated. you indefinitely have at least one code stored. check the code(s)
