Trouble codes 1248
I will admit, Im a noob at an engine like our 7.3's that have so many electronics. My old 84 has almost no wiring!
Anyway, I had my truck scanned today and I'm getting P1248 and P0470.
In just a short second I figured out what they are. But my question is, could the EBPS be causing the boost pressure sensor failure? Its been giving me problems for a while now. My engine at 1300-1800 rpms acts like its sucking air or running out of fuel, even when I have a full tank.
I've cleaned the sensor but it hasn't fixed it so Im guessing its bad.
Just wondering if the bad EBPS could cause a false boost reading
