02 7.3 no power to fuel pump

have had this problem now for a week and am stumped. If i hot wire fuel pump truck runs great. i have checked all fuses and even replaced them wether they needed to be or not. i have checked the inertia switch and it was not popped. But when i checked it with power on I dont not have any power to it. I borrowed a code reader from a friend who also has a powerstroke of same year and couldn't get a link up to truck. The wts light lights up so dont know if its my pcm. Any help would be greatly appreciated

have you tested the fuel pump relay under the hood?

according to my manuel and the dealer the relay for the fuel pump is built in and not seviceable. i have checked all other relays just incase though and still nothing

hmm, I was looking at my 2000 manual so they may be correct. looks like your problem may lie in the pcm since that's where the fuel pump power comes from and you can't get a scanner to link up. I would hotwire the fuel pump and drive it to an auto parts store and see if they can scan it.
