crank broke on #1 rod journal

I was just drive down the road going about 40mph then heard a ticking noise then the tick turned to a bad knock. Just had a short block done about 14000 miles ago. What caused this.

Bearning is spun but couldn't tell if crank broke then spun or bearning spun first. I saw the blue coloring also but didn't see the crank when motor was built. I do all my own oil changes so I know it had oil in it and I always prefill the filter to avoid a no or lack of oil. It is under warranty I will find out Monday what they have to say. All I know is they better cover it.

2nd that brother, wouldn't want to be across the counter if they don't And they better not question oil changes. Had the smae thing happen on my EB. Bearing went first then the crank Good luck on Monday.
