crank broke on #1 rod journal

I was just drive down the road going about 40mph then heard a ticking noise then the tick turned to a bad knock. Just had a short block done about 14000 miles ago. What caused this.

Bearning is spun but couldn't tell if crank broke then spun or bearning spun first. I saw the blue coloring also but didn't see the crank when motor was built. I do all my own oil changes so I know it had oil in it and I always prefill the filter to avoid a no or lack of oil. It is under warranty I will find out Monday what they have to say. All I know is they better cover it.
