dont have a clue as to how to post, but here goes

First off hello to all. Im new to this so bare with me. I have a 00 F350 flatbed dually with a 7.3L in it. I had to put a different engine in it by myself. I took off the cab and switched the parts onto the motor i was putting in the truck.I took the old one out put the one i builtin put it all back together, cab back on and got it running. had to take tranny out and to a shop,I blew the pump in the tranny. So, i get the tranny back bolt it back in start the truck up and put it in gear.It will hardly drive maybe 20mph and blows alot of white smoke. It idles fine and revs good in park, but put it in drive and hardly anything. Can someone please help?

Have you done a cylinder contribution test and an injector buzz test to make sure that the fuel system is delivering fuel correctly?

You need a very good code reader/diagnostic tool.

I made my Samsung SGH-I997 send this.

It would be easier for you to get in touch with a mobile diesel mechanic (not as uncommon as you think), and pay them to diagnose the motor. It'll land up costing you around $100, and you'll know from the codes and from the contribution/buzz test what's going. It's worth it, trust me. You could spend all day and not even get the slightest idea of what's wrong.
