99 7.3 just dies

Am having an intermittent problem with my 7.3. When slowing down and come to a complete stop the motor just shuts off and all gages are still working and no cel. Starts right back up and we go down the road. Any thoughts?

Sounds like a CPS (CamPosistionSensor) maybe? If you have a spare (and everybody should) I'd change it just because they're so problematic. If it didn't fix it, keep the old one as your New spare. This would be just a starting point of course, intermittent problems are the Worst

Thanks am being told that could be it but all the throttle pedal? Or tps.

Repalce cam sensor so far so good. Thanks for the tip.
