truck wont start HELP!
So I'm looking to sell my 2003 F-250 7.3
I had some auxilary lights that I was taking off to sell the truck and when I disconnected them from the battery something happened I'm not sure what maybe I shorted something out or the wire to the fuse panel became disconnected briefly? I tryed starting the truck later that day and found the glow plug relay was bad so I replaced it (truck ran fine) then the altenator went out so i put new batteries and a new altenator on(been having starting/power problems since). I could get the truck running from a battery charger an once running everything was fine but when shut truck off couldnt get it to restart. Now the batteries have 12.5 volts the altenator has 12.5 volts but when I turn the key the truck acts as if the batteries are dead it trys to crank then just clicks? I cant even get it running via jump box now...
I've had a battery charger on it a few times because I had a loose bolt on one battery that was draining them tightened it and it stopped doing that.
Do you think the batteries are fried now?
Or have any idea what it could be?
Please help I need to get this thing up going an gone!
Thanks!
