useing lots of oil no leaks no smoke

was running great then starts to sputter almost dies pulled over checked oil none on stick 2000 7.3 215,000 miles never low oil has run great. filled with oil . runs great 400 miles or so repeat. whats going on. new here so thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like it needs o-rings on the fuel injectors.

have a friend with a 95 that would use a gallon in 20 miles, pulled all 8 injectors and installed new o-rings. Fixed his problem, he thought he needed to have the whole engine rebuilt.
