No wait to start light
Hey guys, I bought my truck about 2 months ago (2002 7.3 177000 miles on it) and I noticed when i bought it that the "wait to start" light doesn't come on. I never really thought anything of it until last night the truck had sit for 24 hours (it was about 50 degrees out) and it had a hard time starting....usually fires right up. Any reason why this light wouldn't come on? Bad glow plug relay? If it is, what are some aftermarket unit that will hold up to the demands of the glow plugs?

Check that usually it would throw a code saying what glow or if the relay is bad. Can you hear them clicking when you turn the key?

Super-non-technical answer... The lightbulb behind the Wait to Start light could be shot. You should hear them click though once it's warm.
