F350 exhaust manifold

I have come to the conclusion that my exhaust manifold gaskets are bad and the manifolds need remachined when I get everything replaced. I just have an annoying loud tick coming from the exhaust and it is slowly getting louder. I am just curious if this will harm anything from being like this. Until I have it fixed. In about a week or so.
