Fuel Leak after Hard Impact!
So I was run off the road a little over a week ago and had it not been for my cattle pusher bumper I would've smashed up my truck pretty good. Since then, though, when I drive the truck I've got a fuel leak. I stopped driving it until I could look into it further and today I got a chance and found I'm leaking out of some sort of drain tube coming off the back of the filter/water separator. Once building pressure it leaks, and as soon as it bleeds down and loses pressure it stops. Thought it might have something to do with the fuel reset but it was never tripped and I've driven the truck with no issue other than the leak. '00 7.3 6spd. Any thoughts?

rebuild fuel bowl time...
Riffraff Diesel: "Mechanics Parts Cabinet" Combo kit Also, when removing the bowl, take a peek at the p/s fuel line, leading to back of head. It goes thru a clamp which overtime, begins to make the line leak. |
