Uneven flutter in turbo

Hi!

I have a 99 F250SD PSD 4x4. I have been noticing a very strange fluttering noise in my turbo. Only happens under heavy acceleration till I back out. Any ideas?

I have also noticed when it changes gears under acceleration it sounds like a semi changing. (That high pitch air release noise). People actually thought I was squealing tires when it happens.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks y'all!!

your experiencing turbo surge. Quick/cheap fix is to install a wicked wheel. Another route is an ATS ported housing. The other noise ur hearing is your wastegate working correctly. No need to worry there.

Ok, well thats kinda what I figured on the second noise but just wanted to be sure!

The first though... Thats what I was worried about..... But, a wicked wheel sounds great to me! One of those mods I was going to eventually do anyway
