Long crank after injector swap

Hey Guys a buddy of mine and I swap out injectors on his early 99. We did it textbook style from a ford shop service manual. After getting everything back together, the truck cranked for quit a while then finally came to life, which we expected. Except for when the truck sits for some time the cranking time gets longer. Any advice would be real helpful thanks guys

It usually takes a while to purge all the air out. Mine did the same.
I got it fired up pretty easy after install, but the next day it took even longer to start. I think you have to drive a good 50 miles give or take, to get where it should be.
Just go run it or give it time, it'll work itself out
