Problem with my engine!!!

Hey guys running a stock engine, no tuner, not exhaust 2001 f250 crew cab 4x4 today while coming home from clearlake the truck just fell flat it still revs up but wont even crawl. Let it cool down for 3 hours got another 30 mins of driving out of it. Then towed it the rest of the way ran like a champ when it got home. I need to get a code reader tomorrow the SES light came on. Any clues guys?

Mine did the same thing when the hose to the map sensor was bad. Good luck!

From what you described (or at least how I read it) it sounds like it might be a transmission problem.

Gonna need some more detail on it.
