EGT problem, exhaust is hotter than normal?

Noticed this last night, 99 all stock exhaust. The exhaust itself all the way at the tip is burn-your-hand hot, i know, because i touched it. All around the rear of the truck is a good 50+ degrees than the air, the rims a hot to the touch, the tires are gaining significant air pressure and the floor of the bed is warm. Engine itself is running fine, turbo spools fine boosts great but the exhaust seems like its running hotter than normal.

Anyone have any ideas? maybe someone has gauges with a # on it for egt? I'll run a tire temp laser on it today to get an idea of a number. But the motor itself isn't running hot. Took this pic after about 30 minutes of towing my race car at about 50mph and i noticed it was hotter than usual in the rear.
