No power steering after hoses changed

Hey guys I changed both my HYDRO BRAKE booster lines. The 1 going from the power steering unit to the brake booster and the 1 going from the booster to the steering box. Now I have no power steering.
I filled it up before starting the engine and refilled it a few times over the next few mins. I took the right line off at the brake booster and started it and fluid came out fast but still little to no power steering.

Side note when taking off line from power steering unit the fitting came out too. Once I got it to a vise I got it apart. When installing said fitting its some how spring loaded I dropped the dam thing and a part from inside the power steering unit came flying out. Not knowing how it was in there in the 1st place. I put it back in so the two opening meet each out 1 from the hose 1 from the part that fell out(the other end it has no opening)Not sure what this part is (check valve)or if I have it in right.
So what do you think part that fell out in backwards or system some how air locked?

P.S. This is after I had to go back to the parts store because come to find out they gave me new lines for a chevy 2500. I get both lines out and match them up to the new lines and was like WTF! After working all night too 3rd shifter.

Its been 1 of THOOSE days...

Any help would be great thanks guys!
