Sparatic Problem
This is my first post. I have a 2002 F-250 and am experiencing engine shut off problems. Started with what I thought was bad dose of fuel. Replaced fuel filter, it ran fine. Drove about 30 min. one morning, itstalled a few times, and then quit. A couple of things are common when it shuts down. When I turn the key on I can't hear the fuel pump priming, and the glow plug light will not go out as in ready to start. Checked out batteries and both had bad cells. Replaced them and it ran fine for a few days. It put me down again,and again I couldn't hear pump and glow plug light would not go out when key was switched on...next morning the dam thing started, but I'm leary about driving it because it don't puch very well. ECM/PCM, IDM, is there a glow plug relay? Any suggestions?
