Sputtering, blue smoke, and quitting
I have a 2002 powerstroke. Drove to town two days ago and truck started blue smoking and sputtering when I stopped at the gas station. It died and would not start back for 10 minutes. I then noticed the fuel pump wasnt running, turned the key on and off a couple of times and fuel pump turned on again. The smoke is so rich it burns your eyes when you are standing beside the truck. It sputters so bad that you can't get over two thousand Rpms. Replaced cps and icp and still runs terrible. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

No codes or engine light? Do you have an egt gauge? Are your egts higher? Ive seen broken injector tips that dump fuel in the cylinder, can cause blue smoke

Just an fyi to the op, this is the super duty secton... you'd get better responses in the OBS section as super duty's and OBS trucks are not the same

I have a super duty now, I just haven't changed my sig. It shows no codes when i check with my evolution. But there is a check engine light. The truck blue smokes very heavily. No signs leadin up to it. It just all happened at once.

My guess would be something wrong with a injector.
