Service Light *Update*

My trucks service light has been coming on and off. Usually only comes on below 1500rpms. Took it to ford today for a second opinion... Ding! 5 codes:
P1316
P1271
P1274
P1276
P1278
IDM was good.
Tech told me last steps to pull valve covers and check harness/injectors.
How do check them to see if its the harness or the injectors? I'd rather not fork out 4 hours labor to ford if I can do it myself.

Thanks I'll pull the valve covers off tom and check the connection, see if any pins are burnt and if it's loose. My truck does not have any running issues like that. Just SES light comes on and off

And is that how you test injectors? Just by listening to a buzz test?

If you have the equipment to do a buzz test, yes - do it!

It will not only give you a quick assessment of how the injectors are working but the state of All the connections going to them. Additionally, it then gets the IDM to resolve further codes that will help you diagnose other related problems.
