Glow Plugs Question
When I was looking under my hood, I discovered a wire that wasn't attached to anything and looked to be grounded. It was close to the solenoid seen in the picture, I just dont know where it needs to go. Im pretty sure its just a ground wire abut I still dont know where it goes. Any ideas?

I would have to go look at mine but a first glance I see you have a extra nut on one of the studs holding down your GP relay. Does it go there? And did it accidently touch your hot side of the GP relay? Because you have had a serious arc right there.

Did you delete the AIH plug. It looks like you are missing the AIH relay which sits right next to the GPR.

- Justin, im not sure if it goes there, I did notice that there was that extra nut, i wonder if it slipped off somehow. Is there anyway to tell where it should go? Yeah I think it definitely touched the hot side, i think it was touching it when I realized that it was off, something I guess the guy who owned it didnt fix.
- Stroker, I have no idea what the AIH plug or relay is, so I cant answer that. I haven't done anything to it. Still a diesel noob |

Take a picture of the spider itself. You are missing the AIH (Air intake heater) relay. That wire with the terminal is the ground for that relay. I just put electrical tape on the end and zip tied it out of the way.

Sorry I dont know what the spider is to take a picture of. Do I need to replace the AIH relay or is fine without it?

It is fine without the relay. I deleted mine. The spider has 5 holes and is the big cast that goes to the turbo, both plenums, and both IC pipes.
