Wet tailpipe?

Hi,

I picked up my truck yesterday after having two leaking injectors fixed. The truck went right onto the freeway for a half hour and then about an hour of local driving and after parking I noticed the tailpipe was all wet outside around the end. I think it's diesel. Smells like diesel. Plus there was splatters on the fender bumper and tailgate. I attached a picture.

The tailpipe stayed wet for quite a while. Today I wiped off the fender and took it out for about an hour drive mostly on the freeway. Again the tailpipe was all wet on the outside end but not as much spatter on the fender.

Is this normal after having the injectors done?

Also they forgot to put the plastic Powerstroke shield on the top of the engine back. Is it needed or is it just for show?

I'll be going back to them tomorrow when we head out town on vacation.

Thanks,
Shayne

Didn't notice any smoke even when giving it. That will be good news then if that's what it is
