Help!!

I have a 99 with 170k on the motor. Only mods a I have is dp tuner, cold air, and straight piped. When driving and running about 1200 to 1800 rpm it sputters reallly bad. I have to basically floor it to get it running right again. When accelerating or high rpm's it runs great. I replaced filters and fuel pump. Any help would be great!

injectors ? go back to stock tune and see if it clears up

Im going to have the injectors tested this weekend. Ive heard a bad IDM could do this as well? Any thoughts?
