Strange starter..

Hey there, popped the hood yesterday and stuck the key in and waited, starter made a clicking noise the entire time, but started right up without a problem. Turned the truck off, put the key back in, did the same clicking sound, but started up just fine. Bad solenoid? Also replaced only 1 battery not too long ago (2 weeks) gonna replace the other one when i get the truck back in a few days. Think that battery could have anything to do with it? Tested just fine.. People at the shop say they didnt hear the sound at all.. loose solenoid?

sure it's the starter and not the glow plug relay?
the starter solenoid doesn't see power until the key is in start position
