sputtering going down highway

i have a 99 f250 7.3 with a 6 speed manual and it hasent happened latley but about 2-3 weeks ago i was cruzing down the highway in 5th gear at around 55-60 mph and my truck sputtered. like it wasent reciving fuel and was about to die but only for a split second. then 2 minutes later it did it again then it was fine. 15 min later i pulled up to my gate to open it and i popped it out of gear so it was ideling. then it sputterd again and died. i started it up and it hasent done it since. ive read some posts that people said that low oil can do this but my truck isnt low on oil. it is in need of an oil change but thats it. woundering if this has happened to anyone and whats the solution to the problem

Because of the way our injection system works, it's actually possible that's the whole problem. As the oil get's older, it's anti-foam properties break down and can cause Big problems for the Hi-Pres oil that drives the injectors...

It needs it anyway, start there!
